Our Vision

Credible, local news gives New Englanders the information they need to act and improve their lives and the lives of their neighbors. It cuts across political divides to cover meaningful community issues. From school board action to town committees — schools sports, community events and business openings, environment, economic forces, and storm damage — local news has a beat on the community and what matters most. We believe everyone in New England deserves access to credible local news.

Local news is the finest and best example of public service journalism

It is the antidote to deepening divisions, discontent, and the spread of misinformation. It gives communities the tools to decide what issues are important to them and to raise those issues up to a regional and national scale.
